This family is very near and dear to my heart.
I met them all of two months ago if even that, but they have captivated my heart.
I first did 1 year portraits of the baby, Cameron, as a favor to a friend. I immediately bonded with them. Jessica, the mother, is as precious as you could ever imagine. Such a genuine person and has a love for her family that no one can touch.

I had been briefly updated/informed of Cameron's condition. All I gathered from the information I received was that he was developmentally delayed and that his head was not growing as it should be. I was told it was believed he had suffered a stroke while in the womb. I thought that meant he would be just a little behind.

During his one year session he did wonderful. He was unable to stand on his own but nothing that he wasn't trying for. He would hold onto things and try to stand. He smiled like NOBODY'S business.

Shortly after that session I received an email asking if I would do the whole Jordan family portraits. That they wanted to capture memories of their family.
I gladly agreed and scheduled a Jordan Family session.

Last Saturday I captured their family in photos that they will always remember. Just a few days ago Cameron's parents took him to Houston for some more testing and to get the results on some other tests. They came home with the most dreadful news two parents could imagine. Cameron has MLD. You can read his story here.

My heart is literally in pieces over the news. I have tears streaming my face and cannot stop asking God for a miracle.
If you feel led, please say a prayer for this precious family that they would in fact experience this miracle for their sweet baby boy! Overall that God would hold them in the midst of the pain!
