though the journey is long and tiring i will choose to have joy in my heart... Join us on this journey through infant loss on into foster/adoption.
Just for all you movie goers... we watched FIREPROOF this weekend and it was AMAZING to say the least. Definitely a must see for couples. If your marriage is strong it will, in my opinion, make it stronger; if it is weak and experiencing trials (where ours is) it MAY rekindle it. I know I have a long way to go in our marriage ( we both do). There have been many hurts and regrets in our 4 1/2 years together but I also know that God has called me to be IN this marriage. A team player and not a quitter... And all that know me know that I am stubborn and will NOT give up no matter how hard the enemy pushes at me. I may sink back for a week or so but then I get the Spirit of the LORD and the ARMY is backing me 100% and I am ready to fight and fight to the death. I am in this marriage "TIL DEATH DO US PART". "For BETTER AND FOR WORSE"... sometimes that is definitely hard to swallow and it leaves a bitter taste but I believe that God has bigger plans that the enemy is out to destroy. I just need to be refreshed time and time and time and time again. I have been beat down and am still broken and wounded trying to climb back out of the pit. BUT I am in fact climbing. Hard as it may be... I am fighting... 'til death.
So here it is ladies and... well I am sure more ladies (what men really sit and read these, well the women's ones anyway. Ü). Our master bedroom got a makeover this weekend. Fri, and Sat. We knew we wanted to get rid of the UGLY wallpaper in our bedroom but we could never (when I say we I really mean I b/c Johnny has nothing to do in the decision making department... it is all me and then he is the brawn...my he-man!!! Ü hehehe!) So I could never decide on what I wanted it to look like. I had been kicking around the idea of black and white with aqua accents and so I found a duvet cover that I fell in love with that was black and white so I went with that and we had previously bought aqua sheets. That then led to painting the room black(bottom) white (top). So beautiful and romantical! Yes I am trying to light a blown out pilot light okay!!! On my pilot not his of course. Ü So now I am in the process of decorating. I am putting black and white pictures in black frames and hanging them about 4 inches from the top of the chair railing. I painted my night stand black and put a brushed silver handle on it but now I am concerned that it is going to be overwhelmed with the black walls. I really wanted to paint all my furniture black w/ brushed silver hardware but now I am afraid that it will be too much. I really don't like white furniture in a bedroom but I think I am kind of running out of options. AND I am not brave enough (Mollie Ü) to do teal/aqua furniture. I am going to recover the chair and ottoman in black and white toille or some fun fabric I may find. So many options but I am very indecisive.... If there are any suggestions Ü please advise. I really don't have many options but I would like to hear your oppinions anyway. And ignore the mess all over the room and other non matching stuff it is all from the makeover extravaganza... and the furniture is again still getting a decision made on which color.
All freedom comes with a price to pay. But when it is worth it it is worth every thing you own. Bear's freedom has just been granted by the agreement of a letter and a picture every 6 mos to his biological mother. YES THAT IS CORRECT HE IS NOW LEGALLY FREE FOR ADOPTION!!! We found out on Tuesday that the relinquishment papers were signed and Bear is now legally free for adoption. We still have to go before the judge in October and let him know the status and after that date then we will get moved over to adoptions and get a new caseworker and the process begins... My AFS caseworker is stating that we should have him adopted before Christmas! HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD!!! We are so thankful and we will truly be celebrating on Thanksgiving and giving ALL our Thanks to God.
Thank you for all your prayers and intercession. God has given us the true desires of our hearts!!! We are praying that our next ones to come (after Bear's adoption) will be all works of the Lord's hands. We are addicted loving on "our God given" children now. It is almost impossible to say no now. We look forward to a partnership with Christ in loving on these children that need mommies and daddies from here on out. Thank you Jesus for such an overwhelming sense of LOVE and Compassion!!!

AND if you really want to know the whole scoop on who I am and where I've been... sit down, grab hold and click here! But be warned... it is brutally honest!
