HAPPY TRUNK OR TREATING

Every year for Halloween we go to an event our church puts together called Trunk-or-Treat to share the love of Jesus as well as give parents in that neighborhood (kinda rough) a safe haven to take their children for a fun-filled night without the worry. Last year Bear was just two weeks old. This year was much more eventful. He was not dressed up as anything but he was cute! We took him a monkey to hold onto for the theme. I had actually ordered him a costume a couple months back but when we got it it was already too small and it was missing a button so I sent it back and just never replaced it. I am kind of glad I didn't seeing that it was so hot. We would have gotten him something that he would have been miserable in.

We, as a Life Group (a group (15 people or so) of faith-filled or "hungry"people basically in the same "zone" as you such as 20's zone, young adults zone, college... etc.... We meet every Wed night from 6P-8P) I think we are in the young families zone...) Anyway our Lifegroup was in charge of "decorating" a trunk and passing out candy from "our" vehicle. This year our LG theme was "It's a jungle out there... Got Jesus?" So we decorated our trunk like a jungle and hung signs, monkeys and bananas. It got a lot of comments... We were passing out candy from a picnic basket.

The cutest part of the whole theme were the monkey and the elephant infants we had. It of course was so warm here that everyone was miserable in there cozy outfits.

Oh well it was a great turn out and such fun to see all the costumes.

On another note... Bear finally got a new crib today. We ordered it and got it in today. He broke his other one. Well I can't say for sure if HE did it b/c it was a repeated hand me down so who knows where it originally came from. But he now has a habit of SHAKING everything he can stand up to so I thought he rattled the clip so much it broke. I was thankful for the year that it did serve us. Even longer actually. I am looking for a replacement part so it can be fixed. But for now we went ahead and ordered a new one b/c J's parents offered a while back to buy us a crib when we needed one and also we intend on having more than one baby before too long so we are going to be needing a second one. It is way cute.

Just ignore the unfinished painted room. It is still in the works. I have kinda hit a wall as to what color to do the bottom half (and the chair railing still has to go in). I bought khaki for the bottom but am thinking I am not going to like it. I was going to do it with khaki and red stripes at the bottom with blue accents in the room buuuuuuttt. I hate it when this happens to my brain. UGGGHHH. Hopefully I will get it done before he moves off to college! HA!

Hope you all had a wonderful, eventful night! Blessings!

insult to injury

sooooo I have been injured in battle. Sunday night I was in a club with an old dear friend of mine. She had to go to the restroom for a moment and I sat waiting at a table for her. When she came out there was a group of girls standing outside the door waiting to jump on her apparently. As soon as the fight broke out I jumped in and started fighting to my hearts content; I was landing punches left and right watching them fall like autumn leaves. Finally the fight was over and I left for home injured...

now for the good part. IT WAS ALL IN A STINKIN' DREAM... And yes I really did wake up with an injured wrist. Terrible right. I don't even have a fun, valid war story! It was a DREAM! So I made sure that J did not have a broken nose or bruises all over him. He checked out okay. On to our walls to make sure I did not get up and have it out with one of them.... nope! Hole-less. Clueless, I carried on my day with an injured, sore wrist. Not too bad but uncomfortable. So Tuesday comes and I go to the Chiropractor for an adjustment and ask him about my wrist (which is a lot more tender now). Again, I repeat my embarrassing war story (yeah, that dream one...) and then he proceeds to check my "tenderness" tolerance. The bones did not seem sore; it was more right under my thumb area. He told me to wait 3 days and then we could take an x-ray b/c if it were broken then we would not be able to see anything until it started healing in a couple days anyway.

Home we go. The pain at this point is getting untolerable. I go and get a wrist brace to help me not move the wrist (it is starting to swell and be unmovable now). I get the brace on and it is doing much of nothing really. I come home and make an appointment for my Dr. in the morning to be seen and get some pain relief and hopefully get a diagnosis.

On to the Dr. Wednesday. Again... humiliating war story re-told. I came out of there with a sprained wrist, some feel good prescriptions, and a rigid splint. I was feeling great. I stayed on top of the pain medicine like a mother hen. Every 4 hours was what it said and every 4 hours I was downing pain meds. At this point I could not move my hand without seering pain, nor any of my fingers. So as soon as the 4 hours was up I could start feeling a tinge of pain again and I could not bear to be in that pain. It also kind of created a barrier. I could not feel my pain after the medication so I could use my hand more and get things around the house done. I think I probably over did it but I cannot stay still or not do anything.

Today was much better I woke up with the splint on and didn't really feel much pain at all. I got up and was able to go back to taking Ibuprophen instead of the prescribed pain meds and my anti-inflamatory med prescribed. I have been able to do a lot more today. I even made hommade pizza dough (which requires kneading for 5-8 minutes)... I felt great. Every once in a while I will turn it the wrong way or put too much pressure on it and remember that I am still healing but oh how good it feels to be able to do things again. Especially pull your own pants up!

My sweet hubby was wonderful with Bear. He was getting him up and changed (hahaha he had some rank diapers during my break... hahaha.. I love my honey!) He was getting him dressed and fed. I of course had to not say anything about his clothes not matching or that he should have a bib on when he has breakfast in his jammies. I just stayed quiet and thankful that he was indeed taking initiative and caring for our son. Yay me. It was humiliating to say the least though... You really can't do much for yourself either when you are dealing with one hand... Yep I had to get help getting dressed and pulling up my pants after going to the restroom, I had to have help in everything... drying off after a shower. Terrible! I hate not being able to help myself. I have a new burden in my heart to pray for people with these PERMANANT issues.

So if you are wondering. I am better and I am doing things myself again and YES I DID WIN THE FIGHT!

Where to begin...

Just to warn you... Lots of pictures in progress!

So sorry I have been away for a while. I have been busy, busy, sick, busy, sick hubby, sick baby busy, I have missed you all! I had a women's conference (rocked my face off GOOD!) this weekend...(Fri, Sat) Sunday we had Bear's second b.day party (for my side of the family and all of our adorable friends... love you all!) and also a "Gotcha day" celebration. One year ago Saturday (the 25th) we received him into our newly moved into home. So we celebrated our having him a year and getting to love on him for a whole year! So... where to begin.

****Women's conference****

Every year our church hosts a women's conference that some of my dear friends are in charge of putting together (we were sadly informed that this was her "last year" to do this... hmmmm wonder if she'll stay if we tell her it was WONDERFUL AND NOBODY CAN DO IT LIKE SHE CAN!!!!) We will have to talk later then Ü! Anyway this year's theme was "Rain" out of Hosea 6:3...Oh just to read that. MmMMMM makes me want to drink it in DEEP into my dry soul (actually from beginning from verse 1-3 is GREAT)! I love these conferences. They give me enough to press on with my DADDY even longer. It is just what I need to continue on in the dry seasons! I love the community I am surrounded by!

The guest speaker happened to be the woman that led me to receive Christ as my Lord and Savior 6 years ago. A fun story really (some day when I am feeling up to a long fun story I will tell you all how it happened). So anyway She and her husband have moved from our church to do a church plant in Wheaton, IL and she came back to speak at the conference... How wonderful it was to see her again and hear the faith that drew me in in the beginning! I love that woman!

She was speaking at one point (because remember I am terrible at the whole picture I can only remember little segments and barely that... so bear with me) on us knowing God as our "owner; we belong to him" but do we know him as "our MASTER"?. OUCH! um probably not! I know I belong to Him but am I obedient like we wish for our children to be? Not by any means am I. She gave an analogy about a puppy they have recently gotten and she was talking about how she took the puppy out for "puppy time" and living on an extremely busy street they have to keep a very close eye on the puppy. She mentioned that there was a neighbor across the street that saw the puppy and was talking in an excited voice about her and it lured the puppy her way. Amy (The Speaker) had to run after the puppy before she got ran over to protect her and pull her back to the safety of their yard. After this she said she later was in prayer and God gave to her this analogy and told her " your puppy knows you as her owner but she does not know you as Master!"WOW! Makes me really think of where my walk with MY GOD is these days! How often do I "dismiss" my Father's voice just because I am "busy" with my own life and get into so much "trouble"? Too many for me to count. I want to hear God in my every action. Oh how I long for that day.

There was so much to process... I think I am still drinking it all in. I bought the CD's from the weekend of the whole conference so I can listen to it over and over again. There are break out sessions that we can attend and I attended the "Drought" one on account of that's what I am feeling right now. So on the CD set you can have all the sessions and get to hear them all! wooohooo. I am sure certain things will continue to press in my heart to share from time to time (especially as I listen to them over and over again)... but my mind is jumping on now before I forget everything that happened this weekend. So here we go.

****B.Day party/Gotcha day celebration****

The conference was on Fri night, and Sat from 8A to 3:30 P (but seeing I could not leave until I spoke with Amy and hugged her neck I stayed a lot later. I am so glad I did!). And then Bear's party was Sunday from 2-4. Talk about a BUSY weekend. On top of I HATE PLANNING PARTIES! I don't know if anyone has caught on to that yet from previous posts. Driving home Saturday after the conference I had to stop off at the grocery store to pick up last minute things and I felt real exhausted (you know how it is when you have been crying all weekend and have just met with Jesus! MAN THAT'S SOME GOOD STUFF!) and I used to be a pot head.... let me just say for the record JESUS IS WAY BETTER!!!).

Well I just seemed to keep fading! I got home and J fed Bear and bathed him and put him to bed. I was going to take a nap and then get up to do all the food that could be done ahead of time... and the cakes. I went to lie down and figured I had better not because I always feel worse when I nap ( I also dislike naps for some weird reason hmmm.). So I was going to relax on the couch and watch a movie to "veg out" for a moment or two until the "fog" wore off... but it kept getting worse until I literally felt like I was going to faint; puke and then faint. I took some pepto and rested on the couch and J... my wonderful Hubby, proceeded to make the cakes for me. I had to get up to separate the egg whites but other than that he made me stay on the couch until I felt better. So we got the cakes baked and I got to spend some good QT with him while I was made to sit still. Very rare occasion. Eventually all the cakes were baked and it was time to go to bed!! yay! The next day we were in the full swing of things. The theme for his party was bees... I got the idea from a magazine of a bee hive cake and it was too cute and witty not to do so I dared to make the beehive cake. I thought "what would be better than a little Bear digging into a beehive b.day cake???" so fun. It was complete with little pipe cleaner bees I made about a month ago. Then I made cup cakes with bees on them and two bears I decided we needed at the end of the decorating. We also made an 11X13 cake that had his signature Bear face on it (Thanks to Misti's wonderful brain. I was going to just leave it blank... She talked me into doing "his face".) All in all everything turned out great! LOTS of food and LOTS of cake.... and LOTSA, LOTSA PEOPLE! Here are some fun pictures of the whole Blessed event! Take in what you can and come back for seconds if you have to! I am still having to. I am thankful for the people using my camera to take pictures... I would not have had any if it were not for you!

*** Last but not LEAST ***

Bear finally got a hair cut! It was getting way unrully and I have been wanting to trim it but we have to have permission to cut a "foster" childs hair. So I got permission to have it cut. My mother is a beautician so she got the privilege of giving her grandson his first haircut. (We of course saved his little curls for a keepsake). It is SOOOO adorable on him. Such a little man now. I love this little man!

There is so much more I could fill you in on but I will save your eyes for now and leave you to digest all this. The time is coming that I will give you more to fill up on.

Blessings to you all my friends and family! Love and peace be plentiful in your homes tonight (or today for those of you reading this in the morning.)

Initiation

We finally put down the first "portion" of the lawyer fees and we are moving as far forward as we can at this point. We were informed that the 30 day window of "appeal" does not indeed begin until the CPS submits their paperwork to the adoptions unit. My caseworker told me she would be getting that in next month. Hmmmm I don't know how the Foster/adopt agency is so hopeful that we will have him adopted by the end of the year... I am not seeing the possibility of that; BUT I do know that we serve a GREATER GOD full of miracles and Blessings! I am trusting Him with everything to turn out the way HE indeed planned! He has had plans for Bear and us from day one and we are unable to change not even a day! We can alter it by way of our choices but I feel that the day is still going to ultimately turn out the way it was willed. If you made a bad call then you will suffer consequences but the outcome will still overall be the same. (That's my view anyway...)... Is that clear as mud??? So anyway all that to say. I am praying and hopeful that God is bigger than this and is taking care of us even in the "waiting room" of adoption! He knew the plans for us from the very beginning and I will submit my heart to him as not to get in the way with my radical behavior Ü!

Peace and Blessings be with you all tonight!

Update on the court hearing...

So I went back after dropping Bear and J off; it is like 5 minutes away. I found the CPS caseworker and slipped in the seat behind her and let her know I was back minus the gold mine and my hubby. She informed me that everything was already over. WHAT!!!! she had told me that it was going to be a while before we were on the stand and that we would probably be one of the last ones seen. UGHGGGGHHHH! Okay that is just frustrating. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE FOR PETE'S SAKE! I know we can request a picture for Bear's scrapbook but she totally does not have to comply with that. I want to know was she crying, was there remorse in her face, did she have any hesitations. Was her heart breaking???? Oh how my heart hurts for her. On his b.day we prayed for her... I cried as I thought of her knowing that she gave birth to him a year ago that day! You know she has to have real vivid memories. Even though it turned out different it doesn't mean that she doesn't have feelings. I have lots of hope for her and I pray for her heart to be captivated by our TRUE FATHER! Please if you remember her pray for her heart to be mended and at peace with where her son is. THank you!

Overall this is what happened (in my absence) in court. The bio mother relinquished her rights and signed a relinquishment in front of the court. We will now be moved to the adoptions unit where we will proceed with adopting. There now starts a 30 day window (Appeal period) for family or anyone to come forward to "claim" him if they so choose. After that 30 days is up then we get to move forward with our own desire to adopt him. We are unsure as to how this works but we have been told that we could have him adopted before Christmas... who knows really. NO body but God knows the plans of this little treasured man.

Please be praying with us that we will have utmost peace and patience in this time to come. It is not easy going through this basically blind folded due to not always being informed of everything going on in the case. I hate that he is a case. I am ready for him to JUST BE OUR SON... no longer a case! Thank you for all the prayers and support. We love and appreciate you all!

****UPDATE ON MOE****
I was informed today that he was seen by our CPS caseworker at their office and she said he looks like he is doing okay... but she said that they cut his hair... awwwwww my little moe isn't moe no mo! I am glad to hear that he seems to be doing okay though. I am going to email another caseworker that was on his case and see if I can't get anymore information about how he is doing. Thanks for the prayers for him also.

Final Hearing... Please Pray

Today we have a final hearing for Bear. We just left the courthouse because we had him there (for lack of childcare) and we were informed that the mother is going to be brought from well from "enclosures" and she will be there to sign legal documents terminating her rights. OH my goodness my stomach is in knots. I brought J back to the rent's house with Bear so I can go back and be there for this moment. And I am dying to know what she looks like. Please be praying for peace and comfort in this time of "turmoil" in my heart. If you don't know by now I HAVE ANXIETY ISSUES.... I get real nervous in big settings and I feel like I am going to faint and vomit. Okay I have to go now but please pray!!!!! More to come.....

Updated Birthday

So it turned out great! He is one year old now and still the same sweet, lovable, handsome little man ever. The cakes turned out great. I however did not turn out on my diet okay... (someone had to taste them, again, and again, and again, and darn the frosting that kept getting on my hands as I was making it... I can't stand that Ü) So here are the pictures as promised. Such a fun experience and opportunity!

This is his cousin Elizabeth who shares the same birthday as him, They were born about an hour apart. They had a blast. I think she was way more interested in the cake than he was. This is her cake afterwards. You can see his is still pretty much the same minus a little out of the top.

Remebering today...

Today I have been informed in many different ways that it is National day of remembrance for pregnancy and infant loss. I have shared my story time and time again but I want to take a moment and remember with you our story/ies and where we are now.

On July 8, 2005 (23 weeks pregnant) my water broke (I had no idea that's what was going on; this was our first child). I was in the restroom doing restroom business at this time so nothing "abnormal" seemed to be going on except I thought my bladder went numb for a minute or two as I was hearing fluid but not really "feeling" anything. I carried on about my day and on into the next even attempting an outting with some girlfriends in spite of some back pains I was having. Later that evening I went out to eat with my mother, who was in town for a visit, and my husband. I started feeling real faint and weird to say the least. I asked if we could just go home (not having touched any of my food). We went home and after some severe convincing that I would be fine my mother drove back home. About 30 minutes later my back was hurting so severely that I could not sit still. My husband called our good friend whom works in ER and has two children of her own and she told him to get me straight to L&D that I was in labor. They checked me and told me that I was just having braxton hicks contractions (and that I was not worth their time basically with the attitude I received). So they made me sign a paper stating that if she was born this night that they would do nothing to save her because in their books she is not "viable" until 24 weeks gestation.... BOY I sure hope the dr.s calculations were correct in assuming I was only 23 weeks. That is a fine line when you are about to dismiss a life. So I made them explain to me why they were telling me to sign the paper and why they were telling me that I was in fact not going to deliver our daugher this night, or soon even. After much prompting I signed. The dr. attending was not my normal dr. I got STUCK with an on call dr. who... well let's just say I have not really cared for him every since he treated me the way he treated me. Again like I was not worth their time.

The next morning 6:01 AM Olivia Grace Wachsmann was born into this world kicking and squirming trying to survive while all the personnel did was watch. She in fact lived about 30 minutes while we all held and kissed our sweet, precious daughter. She finally passed in our arms. I watched her take her last attempt at breath and fall still. I will never forget the feeling of having to put on the same clothes that surrounded a baby in my womb just days before and now they were too big and awkward looking to any passerby. I hated the feeling of having to go home empty and face the "welcome home baby" room and furniture that would never know it's would-have-been occupant. The hurt was deep, too deep to share and still to this day I carry a scar from sweet little OLIVIA.

We felt the calling still to "start our family". I was very hesitant for fear of failure and more pain. We conceived in Sept of 05 and I carried until 17 weeks, again, middle of the night I go to the restroom ( all you mommies know this night time, have to pee routine)... well I felt the gush of fluid this time and recognized it for what it was. My fears come to live life in my face. I woke my husband and told him of the experience I just had but would wait til morning to call our dr. to get checked out. (As most of you know I hate taking up peoples time and have just always felt in the way so I did not want to go to the ER and be in their way with my "problems"). I went to the dr. the next morning and he checked my cervix. He said I was not dialated, he was not concerned. Then he went on to do an US and found that there was no fluid around the baby... (ummm right I told you that it all leaked out last night on the toilet). So on to the dumpy hospital full of rude people I go. I wait for my husband to get there and be by my side as I am getting cold stares from the nurses and comments are flying like hot embers through the air landing directly on their mark.... ME! Ohhhh I still get flustered when I think of them up there. Don't get me too wrong there were a select 1 (maybe 5) that were pleasant and treated me like I was a mother losing her child. Needless to say I was in the hospital for a couple days and the dr. sent me home with meds to fight off infection. Next day back to the hospital we went.. I was indeed in labor and so we went to the only place we knew to go, L&D. The nurse that night corrected that thought by way of bluntly stating that we should have gone to the ER b/c they could do nothing for me in L&D... I simply said "would you like me to go down there then"... well i guess I should have never stirred that pot because it boiled over with "it's too late now you are already up here!" I am sooooo sorry to have jumped in here and disturbed your latest issue of Broom sticks of the moth... next time I will call to see what your agenda is before going into preterm labor!!!!!! (blow it off Bri.... you will never see her again God willing!) okay... composure. SO! I had our son Samuel David on Feb 11th at 17 weeks. He of course could not and not did not survive .

Our third child, second daughter, was born on Dec 5th 2006, she was 21 weeks. My water did not break this time due to a cerclage that was done in my 17th week (they stitched my cervix shut)... oh did I mention I switched dr's at this point... The other one kept telling me "this just happens"... hmmmm not on my watch it doesn't and you are never going to get the opportunity of telling me that cheap line again. So this new dr. was a high-risk pregnancy dr and walked very slowly by my side the whole time... explaining everything I had concerns of. I went in when I had concerns about feeling like the baby's foot was all but short of kicking the couch cushion i was sitting on. She had me come in and did an US and discovered that my cervix was ballooning on top of the cerclage and the baby's foot was in that balloon kicking at the cerclage. (I knew I was almost ready to go buy her a pair of shoes and just deal with an extra growth for a little while.)... Needless to say my water had not broken this time because of the cerclage so there was still hope. (BTW this US day was already scheduled to find out the sex of the baby... HA! good thing we were nosy and had to know)... So she sent me straight to the hospital to keep me on meds and strict bed rest. YUCK! to say the least. I am way too active for bed rest.... So there I sat completely tilted the WRONG way in an attempt to keep our little girl up higher. She however was stubborn (that was my girl Ü) and wanted to join the party... eventually the stitches ripped through and I started dialating more. I was at a 6cm when I was put on some heavy duty kick-you-in-the-other-knee kind of medicine... if you have ever had Magnesium Sulfate you will know this is the stuff your momma warned you about. It is no joke... I felt like my head was going to start spinning and I was going to vomit green stuff everywhere (hey I haven't always been a Christian... my parents were stupid enough to let me watch that scary stuff when I was young... WHAT ON EARTH WERE THEY THINKING???) Okay so Exorcist over, now I was in a medicine induced coma or so it felt like... Days elapsed in real time and to me I was just still there, Barely! I caught pneumonia from being on "my head" and on this medicine that barely allows you to breathe. So they brought me down from the meds a little so I could get the pneumonia to back off. It worked. Then I started having contractions again and I was put back under the strong arm of the Mag... eventually there was nothing more that could be done... I had fully dialated and our precious daughter Ymali "Emma" Jane Wachsmann was born.

I have failed you in the way of explaining that in the beginning of all my pregnancies I always had dreams that they would die. They would either be cold and I could not warm them or I would see them needing me and I could not get to them to rescue them... and the last dream was that there was blood when I went into the restroom (which was weird to me b/c there has never been blood...well not in the beginning of the labor)... except the last baby when the stitches tore through my cervix... there was blood and I screamed from the hospital bathroom because I could, again, see my dream coming to pass.

There have been many ways that the Lord has used these trials to make us stronger... there have been many things that have made us weaker. I am not wavering in my faith... I know God is REAL and I know He is good ALL THE TIME... but my heart is scared to run to HIM in fear that He is going to allow everyone I love to leave me and I will be left empty yet again. I have gotten the wonderful opportunity to mother 3 boys (foster) one of which we are pursuing adoption... the others have been taken. I am afraid to pray (I do anyway because I know I am supposed to and as weak and feeble as my prayers are when I bring them to the Cross, I know the response will always be "My beautiful Daugter I am here; I know your pain, I was with you every day and through it all! I am still here! Come to me, know Me, feel ME, Tell me your heart." I cannot. I simply cannot God! My heart hurts and it is tired. I pray for everyone and everything that I feel led to with faith that you will hear my prayers and heal, restore, bless, save, captivate, refresh, comfort.... them. But for me I feel that if I let go of the pain and turmoil that He will again take our son from us (yes the one that is not really ours at the moment). I feel that God will allow him to be taken from us as all the others have been.

I share this post not to have you feel sorry for us but to ask you to simply pray for our family. We have seen some deep valleys and some days I feel they are overtaking me and I cannot climb out. I wanted to share with you my story so that you may know me better and get a feel for our life and why we have been drawn to foster/adoption.... I was a mother without a baby and I wanted to mother a baby without a mommy! I need them and they need me.

I will end on this...The day before I went into labor with our first child I asked God to give me a scripture to meditate on that day... I felt a strong leading to Isaiah 54:1-3 (which I had never really "read" before, but when I did I kind of laughed because here I was 6 months pregnant hmmmmm... Childless God? Now I know).. "Sing, O childless woman! Break forth into loud and joyful song even though you never gave birth to a child. For the woman who could bear no chldren now has more than all the other women," says the Lord. "Enlarge your house; build an addition; spread out your home" For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will take over other nations and live in their cities." I hold fast to that promise He gave me that day!
We moved from our small house in town to be in the country and it just happened to be a BIGGER HOUSE! As soon as we did we received our first child 3 weeks later, our second 5 months later, and our third 1 month after that (just for the record we now only have the one Ü). I see now that through the power of adoption, fostering (and possibly childbirth... who but God knows what's to come) we will raise up ALL OF OUR children to be warriors and to take over nations and dwell in those lands. It is a real good thing that we go to a church that is mission driven!!! God is good all the time!

It drives me crazy to think that had we our own little ones we would never have gotten the privelege to parent our BEAR, Moe, and Iggy!!!! Wow.. to think! Thanks for hanging in there with me. I do treasure you all!

King of his castle...

THE KING HAS FOUND HIS CASTLE... and he appears to be pretty excited about it. Now if he could just find his trusty steed.... oh look there he is... HA!

Bear has been accumulating fun outdoor toys (some that we have chosen to keep inside due to rain)... but one of his new fascinations is his castle. My aunt brought it over one night and we have been waiting for a dry day to go out and play. Yesterday it dried up enough to go outside and venture into the castle. HE LOVED IT! Then we came inside and played some more. He likes climbing in and out of his boat and car. He is starting to venture and play alone and explore with things that are "movable"... closing/opening car door, steering wheel, beeping horn, shifting gears etc... Enjoy the pictures and imagine the fascination going on in his head!
