I have recently been asked to create cards (greeting-ish) cards for a Pumpkin Patch not far away. I obliged. Here are the boys at our first visit of the year. It will probably be our last also but they had lots of fun!
The boys are getting so big and I am loving being their mother! There are some hard days but the days in between those are well worth the battles.
Our main battle has been Bear trying to be boss of his Moe. Moe didn't used to mind but we didn't allow Bear to "parent" him anyway. NOW? Moe minds. He will correct Bear when being corrected by Bear. We are thankful that the battles really don't get much worse than this, right now. So for now it is a lot of apologizing for bad attitudes toward our brother AND disobedience when mommy and daddy told me not to say that to him.
It has been nice having J home more often. I have been swamped with photo shoots, editing, card creating... and painting so the extra hand is always welcome!
Roo is now (in 2 days) 9 mos old and measuring at 28.5 in long and 17.5 lbs. He is tall and skinny! He has to wear 12 mo jeans for length but they are so big when you pick him up they fall off! He is still in a size 3 diaper (Target brand. Pampers: size 2). He can still wear 6 mo shirts or onesies. The length is getting a bit small but the width is JUST RIGHT. time for some extensions. haha.
He is getting everywhere he should not by "long stroke floor swimming" and is almost rid of his bottle. He drinks mainly from his sippy and loves bland table foods. We are about to strip the paci. He is very happy and loves to smile now. EXCEPT for when the black box (AKA: CAMERA) comes out. Then he just stares! It has been less lately and I am LOVING capturing those smiles!
He can now get himself into a sitting position while rocking on his hands and knees. He cannot quite crawl but he can go backwards and sit. haha.
