Birth mother's rights were terminated for Roo this morning at court.
Now they are doing a 'diligent' search for a father. If none come up then they will be terminating on him in 45 days.
Dismissal date is Jan 17th, 5 days after his 1 year birthday!

Good news. So, so good to read.
I am so surprised that your search only takes 45 days. Our "absent parent" search here takes 3-however many months. We're on month 4 already for Dad. Mom got served her termination papers in jail a couple weeks ago, though.
