Flooring Fever

We finally got our "tile" floor in the guest bath done; now on to the hall floor. We decided that we want to do laminate wood flooring a while back. We want to do the whole house, minus the bedrooms which will have new carpet put in, and the baths are tiled. But for now we started with the hallway. "Never despise meager beginnings"! I have no idea what made J think of doing the hall but I LOVE it! It looks kind of funny at first being surrounded by tacky blue carpet, but then it just sinks in and you find yourself lying in the hall petting the floor are in love! There are still some minor touch ups that need to take place, like cleaning the grout off the base of the tub and toilet and putting baseboards all around. I am about to get started painting the bath and hall and then refinishing the cabinets and mirror frame. Lots of work for a full time maid mommy! But I love the changes taking place!
