Rapture???

Okay so when I went to get Bear out of his crib this morning this is what I found. I really thought I got left behind and started panicking. (Hmmmm if this won't put me in check!)

and in the other corner a Naked baby (whom for the sake of not embarrassing him with his future wife someday I did not take photos of him. I know it was such a toss up and so tempting. hahaha). Luckily it was a "clean" diaper b/c I had already changed him from an explosive diaper at 4:30 AM when he woke me up screaming....

Then I could not go back to sleep for the pit in my stomach feeling due to nightmares from the election. So I stayed awake and prayed and read the BIBLE. I know my heart gets way too wrapped around this stuff and I have to not listen to it so I can guard my mouth better. I pray for it and pray as God leads me so I think that is all that needs be done. I have a hard time blessing with my mouth if it is something I am completely not for. "Father please help my mouth be guarded and speak blessings instead of curses." I am praying for our country and our "new presidential electee" (i can't even bring myself to say president.... uggghhhh this is bad folks.)

God deal with my mouth and my heart! I need to learn acceptance. I, afterall, have been accepted as your child and I truly did not deserve it.

MORE WAITING...

So here we are in the process of adopting Bear.

We have been told (CPS caseworker) that the 30 day appeal process pretty much doesn't matter now due to the fact that his mother relinquished rights. On the other hand our attorney wants to wait the 30 days due to "safety". I was informed that Bear will not be "submitted" into adoptions unit until the very end of the month (that is when the 30 days will kick into play). I asked how long it would take to get him adopted and our CPS caseworker says it takes about 6 months! WHAT!!!!!!!! 6 months!!!! when we were thinking it would be in like a month or two at the most! So our Agency caseworker is checking in behind the scenes to see what is going on and she is still thinking that it should be by Feb at the latest it sounds like.

I don't know what is going on but I do know it is frustrating me. I have waited long enough for a child to call my own and frankly I am just tired of waiting. I am tired of writing down every time he has to go to the dr for a random rash and then log everything he has to take to cure it. I hate having to log every time he is getting a tooth and needs orajel to soothe his gums. It is just another reminder that he really is not your own!

I do however know that God is still on His throne and He knows the exact day that Bear will be a member of our family if indeed that is His will for us all. I am still having to hold it lightly b/c nothing is set in stone still until the papers are signed and his last name shines "WACHSMANN" (yes notice there are two "n" at the end of our name now...hahaha) (oh yeah BTW: J and I got remarried on Oct 28 2008..... Sorry; I knew there was something else I was going to blog but I could not remember... Have I ever told you all that I have a TERRIBLE memory! Well I do. We got remarried... wait did I already say that. Anyway. I may blog about that interesting story later.Ü)...so back to trusting God; I do trust that He knows the perfect timing and nothing should go unnoticed by my FATHER! (And I trust that He will heal my bad memory). Nothing will happen a day sooner or a minute later than what He has planned. He sees us and knows us and our desires. Maybe Christmas does look good for a miracle afterall! We will see...

Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' Declares the Lord..."

Until then, Here are Bear's 1 year pictures. Not that you couldn't see him in the parade pictures or the Halloween pictures... but I am bias and I think he is stinkin' cute so I want to post his one year pictures okay. Thanks!

Homecoming Parade!

This past Saturday we attended the Homecoming Parade. It is of course not something that I am completely enthused with but I love the people we go with and it is fun for Bear now that he is old enough to know what is going on. He had a blast watching for things coming down the street. He also got to have a sucker which made the whole ordeal much sweeter!

Bear's Paw paw is a die-hard fan so he has bought our son paraphernalia to represent this sportsmanship. I do have to say that Bear wears it well! After all it is a Bear mascot.
