Ready or Not

So I am thinking that he COULD very well be ready to potty train! If not we are going to have to buy stock in Duct tape!

This is an every morning occurrence lately. I don't understand really. Is it just that he wants it off so badly; does he hate his diaper; is he being destructive; OR simply being a boy? I am not sure but the one thing I do know is that I have got to do something. At the time he is not teething which makes for good diapers (unless of course there is Febreze involved!) but eventually there will be some GROSS ones that I don't want to deal with in this situation.

WHAT! You got left out on the Febreze story? Well you poor readers... I updated my Twitter and my Facebook but not my blog companions? How dare me!

The other day J went in to get the boys up from their nap. He changed Bear's diaper and set him free which then led him to the front room of our house where there sat a very unguarded bottle of Febreze spray. I had just got done spraying our furniture and the boys were in bed so I sat it down for a moment. Weeeeelll... with me a moment gets forgotten because I am SO BUSY all the time I get distracted easily. I was also getting ready to go out with Twink for a Mother's Day dinner. So it got left in plain sight and reach for our little Bear!

He is okay. I called for some assistance on this and they said to give him lots of fluids to dilute the Febreze. I did and he was okay.

Just so you know.. It does not make poop smell fresher!

Splish Splash...

What we do here in the scorching, burn your nose hairs, blazing hot, should call it Summer warm spring weather is buy a pool, filler up with scorching, burn your leg hairs, blazing hot, should be iced down nice hose water.

After it is filled you toss your over enthusiastic, WILD children into the pool to boil like lobsters swim and splash like little children should... OUTSIDE IN A POOL AND NOT IN THE BATHTUB, soaking your floor so that when you use your knees as a leverage while picking up the baby hippos you don't join them in said bathtub!

When your children are red from the blazing hot water delightful sun kissing their beautiful tan skin it is time to go inside and wash off (in a dry bathroom) and hit the hay... er, I mean bed. We are not THAT redneck country!

Playing in the park!

Yesterday we met Moe's daddy (Daddy F) at a local park to play for their weekly visit. In case you missed it, the visits have now gone from 1 hour a week to 2 hours a week still supervised but this can now be done by us alone; and we are now allowed outside of the CPS building for visits. We have been meeting at a park. But yesterday proved to be a bit warm and it is only increasing as Summer draws near.

We will probably be meeting somewhere like the museum from now on seeings that we have a membership now. We can get up to 6 people in free. With our fam going that is still allowing 3 others to join us for free!

We are also allowed to invite Daddy F to outings with us when we go so that he can spend as much time with Moe baby as possible. So today we went to the museum with Daddy F. It was a great time. He had also never been to the museum so it was fun for them to explore the place together. So precious seeing them together.

Soon the transition could be taking place for him to go home to live with his father. I am learning slowly but surely to say goodbye in my heart!
