A few things

Okay for all of you wanting to follow my private blog... You have to send me your email address to briwachsman(at)gmail(dot)com.

If you leave it on my comments that is fine too. I will not post your comment so that it will not be published for all to see.

But I do need an email address for you to send you an invite. It's the only way to get you onto the new blog.

Thanks for joining me on this journey and praying with us along the way. What a community!

....IMPORTANT NEWS....

Moe's BM gave birth to her new baby boy Sunday morning. He is a month early. He weighs 5 lbs and some change. She hadn't been able to hold him because he was hooked up to oxygen and all sorts of wires. She says they are both doing good but there is LOTS of stress for certain.

Please if you have it in your heart to pray for her... she sure could use it. As well as Moe's BF. (no he's not the father of the new baby). There is a LOT involved here!

....MONDAY....

Okay so as for yesterday. It started out at 8:15 going to court for the grandparents intervention. After sitting there listening to a BUNCH of MUMBO JUMBO for about 2 hours the decision was all on the judge.

He sat there in silence for what seemed like EVER. I just closed my eyes and began to pray for wisdom and peace. I was practically begging for it. Then I just felt like God said to 'look at my face and not my hands'. So I calmed my mind and sat in the presence of the lord, I truly felt at peace. I didn't worry about a thing! All of a sudden I had a picture of a document being unrolled in front of me with a gold stamp on it and I felt like the Lord said "Well done, good and faithful"!

At that moment the judge opened his mouth and said "Given the submitted documentation...I am denying intervention".

THANK YOU JESUS! I just smiled and felt the presence of the Lord SO CLOSE!

After that we went to the mediation.

Dad was in a separate room with his attorney

We were in the room with CASA, Moe's Ad Litem, The mediator, The assistant DA, and CPS workers. We made an offer of what we'd be willing to do for them.

The mediator took that and went to the father, and the mother's attorney went to call BM (she was appearing by phone obviously).

After about an hour and a half the mediator came back and presented to us what the father came back with. But at that time he also said that the mother is so emotional right now that she couldn't get a clear sentence out. So they are going to give her some time to recover from the birth and get home.

Mediation has been rescheduled for June 21st.

I feel at peace about it all. It is just going to take a bit longer to get it all settled.

More details on my other blog...

Sorry Lindsay, I posted it to try and see if I could get your email address off and it still posted that part too...

If anyone wants their comments posted but NOT your email address, send the address separately.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement and wisdom. It truly is a blessing to know there are so many of you that are joining us on this journey and standing with us in the battle for these precious children. God calls us to look after the orphans and the widows. In part you are helping us do just that through your prayers. Thank you!
