This little child of mine... I'm going to let him SHINE!

Bear is absolutely stunning. He is always very full of life and energy. He LOVES talking to you if he KNOWS you. If not he is a bit bashful until he warms up to you.

He has been such a big helper these days and is all about doing everything full speed 100%. He can realize a mess and clean it up (or "Keem Uh" rather).

He even goes so far to help keep his bubby company. NOT ONLY do they share a room; I guess that was just not enough... but I went in this morning to greet them for the day and found them BOTH in Moe's CRIB!

Now I know I put Bear to bed last night and I tucked him in. Then I went and checked on him at about 11P before turning in myself. IN BED.

There is a side table next to his bed that is also next to the crib. So my brain power had conjured up that he walked across the table and climbed into the crib with Moe.

I called J in there to find Bear. We both shared a good laugh. We then talked to Bear why that was sweet  of him to want to be with Bubby BUT that he needed to stay in his own bed and that it was important to us that he does. He said "ef ma'm" and "es sir" gave us all sweet Bear kisses and went on to his morninng potty routine.

I love our Bear. He is quite the character. We will let him be who God calls him to be and we will not break his spirit by demanding he stop being funny, witty, or spontaneous (even when that means he is doing stuff he knows he should not {within reason}). We do however guide him in  LOVE, obedience, discipline, and commitment. And that has made this boy SHINE bright! God will use this "creativity of many colors" to advance the Kingdom one day and we will do our part to see that he is well brought up to help make his path a bit straighter and his foundation a bit stronger.

Oh LORD help us raise our children the way you call us to and not the way the world says we should!

That is so precious! What a good big brother! Are you worried about how Bear will react with Moe goes to live with his daddy full time? They seem like best little buddies! :)
