Recognition

This first tid bit is from a circular email that goes to all Arrow foster families and Agencies all over the country.

Second...We get a newsletter from our foster agency monthly and we were surprised to find our names in the Foster Family of the Month section! So exciting.

Bri, Tristan, "Moe" and Johnny Wachsman celebrate Tristan's Adoption Consummation

Tristan Finds A Forever Family

On April 28th, Johnny & Bri Wachsman celebrated the adoption consummation of Tristan Daniel Wachsman. With the assistance and guidance of Waco AFS, Laura White, the Wachsman's adopted Tristan after having him in their home since October of 2007. Laura has been working with the Wachsman's for over a year and says "The Wachsman's are very active with their church community and are active foster parents that work really hard to do everything in their power to help the children in their home." Along with Tristan they are also fostering a young boy named "Moe", pictured above.

Johnny and Bri see Tristan as an answer to prayer and consider it a privilege to adopt him, as they see “his story as a story of hope." Congratulations Johnny, Bri & Tristan. We look forward to hearing great things about the Wachsman family!

Foster Family of the Month

I would like to nominate Johnny and Bri Wachsmann as our foster family for the month of May 2009. The Wachsmanns have been fostering since May of 2007. Only a few months after starting foster care the Wachsmanns were able to provide a home for a very special little boy which has been in their care ever since. On April 28, 2009 the Wachsmann's were able to commit to being his forever family and adopted the newest member of the Wachsmann family. Not only have they been able to provide one of their foster sons with a forever family but have been going above and beyond to support the biological parents of their other foster son by encouraging extra family visits and even invited them to their foster sons one year birthday party that they held for him at a local park.

Congratulations Johnny and Bri on becoming a forever family and thank you for going the extra mile by providing guidance and encouragement to the biological families of your foster son!
