Genetic???

So if you need to see the proof in the pudding... here it is.

BEFORE I married J his mother was used to cutting his hair; it looked something like this... (this is kind of grown out, but you can see the severe line!!!)... Now I cut it of course; the way it suits him best!

Looks kind of like he inherited his mother's cutting gene! OR was it a preference and ALL the boys just thought that was a cool look and desired that their mother cut it that way??? Who knows but I am NOT letting this happen again!
