Firsts...

Today was Moe's "first" Dr. appt back in our home. He is now weighing in at 21 lbs and is 30 in tall. He is as tall as Bear. He does have another ear infection as well as a cold he arrived with a week ago. When he came to us the first time he had an ear infection among other things. We were prescribed some antibiotics and sent on our merry way. Not pleasant but doable.

Today was also his "first" Agency visit. She says he is doing well and looks to be adjusting well. She mainly comes out to see the kiddos and play with them a bit and get all my input and if we have questions or needs we discuss them then.

He also had a visit with his birth father today (first one since back in our home). It went real well. I am believing for good things from him mind you so it was good to see him. I talked to him some about what all was going on. He doesn't know much as he apparently got canceled on a couple of times and has been left out of the loop. He was so excited to see Moe. I don't know where the case stands at this point in time or what is to come but I do believe that God has this all mapped out already! I know that given the opportunity that he too would become our son permanently! If they feel that he is better off with us and they would like to keep a relationship with him. So let it be. We are all for it. I don't know why but it is what is impressed upon my heart. God's grace is more than we know or even expect most times!

Today was a very eventful day and a long one at that... so I am going to bed now. Please if you feel led, say another prayer for my friends the Freemans and their little girl Kayleigh Anne (pink button on the side bar). She is still fighting for life even though her little body started showing signs of shutting down. The dr's had a ray of hope this morning after they thought there was none... let's see where God is going with this miracle.

Thank you all for partnering with me in prayer!
