So yesterday we had some dear friends come over so that I could take their pictures for Christmas cards.. we had fun just taking the pictures and getting to have pizza together afterwards. I was also able to finally get some fun shots of Bear for his "1 year" pictures (I know that he is now 13 mos, but isn't there like a one month grace period or something... ) haha. He does real well when there is someone making him smile! I just don't have it in me to take the picture and dance around like a monkey on a banana high (no offense Tia ahahhaah). So enjoy his wonderful smile and know that there was a cracked out monkey making him laugh! Whatever it takes right!
Excuse the poor lighting... we are working on getting a fun place to take pictures that has GREAT light. Any tips are always welcome Ü.
Tomorrow our CPS caseworker is coming out for what she said to be her last time ever. WHICH MEANS THAT WE ARE GETTING TRANSFERRED SOON! Before next month. We were told after NOV 20th that we were going to be transferred to adoptions so hopefully we will get some good news while we are in AZ.
We are leaving this weekend at 1AM woohhooooo. I am pumped (not by any means about the time) but about heading away from this place and getting to enjoy the mountains and hopefully some snow (at this point I would just appreciate some cold weather that resembles fall). Last year it snowed the day before we left AZ so we did get to see a small amount. I am so looking forward to having a week to be away from our home and daily routine. Not that relaxation sounds in the plans (Bear is coming) but fun definitely sounds like a MUST, especially now that he can walk and really enjoy things. Like our hike to the top of the mountain. I am sure he will be strolled most of the way but once we are up there he can explore to his hearts content. Pine cones are not poisonous right? hahaha!
Oh one last little tid bit. Bear is officially starting to potty train. I bought his potty yesterday, and he has used it. Now we just have to train mommy to empty it right away. I was emptying the tee tee out of it (hours later) while he was waiting (standing by it w/o a diaper on) to go and he peed on the floor. OOPS! He has been doing good today. I know he is young but it is doable! I think I am just going to get him used to it for now but when we come back from AZ we will go a little more hard core P. Training! Never too early to try to succeed. right?

Great pictures! Good luck with potty training. It is great that he is doing so well already!
Hi! Wanted to say hello and thanks for following. I read your profile and admire your convictions about movies. I was also moved to read about your babies and your children. Bless you for adopting! I hope we can continue to have a great and encouraging mommy-blog friendship!
