4 monther

We have a 4 month old little cub in our midst... This is such a fun age because they start venturing out on their eating habits. He is no longer confined to sucking on honeycomb alone. His diet now includes some smushed up mass that resembles grits. He once tried a pretty slimy banana that was almost mauled beyond recognition...good thing there was a smell other wise i would have been lost when trying to figure out the glaze that was all over his furry little face. His face is pretty hysterical when trying these foreign foods. He even refuses to open his mouth when he sees anything other than honeycomb coming his way. Then when I finally break through the seal of steel I get a face resembling that of a bear cub that just encountered the occupants of the honeycomb. hopefully soon it will become second nature so that one day he can return to nature. His momma can't follow him all his life feeding him honeycomb... :)

Top Picks on the Movie List....

Just in case there are any of you out there that enjoy good movies without the slime, stick around because I am going to update you on a few good movies that Have made my tops list. I really dislike going to the movie store but when I do I have to read and check the backs of all the "possibilities" so that i can ensure a clean and healthy movie for my family that we will walk away from saying... "that was a great movie".

Evan Almighty- Great Plot and story line... I love the way the characters really take on their role.

Rattitoule - Wonderful animation. Their was laughter all through this movie. There's nothing better than a movie about a great chef... especially when the chef is a rat.

Pictures of Hollis Woods- Of course this is one of my new faves.. thank you C. There is something special about seeing a family bonded in friendship that is willing to add to the family through adoption. Such a tear jerker.... :)

Here are some that made my list just because they are clean and because they are inspirational... They are definitely low budget films (as are most inspirational/Christian movies)

Welcome to Paradise (Christian movie about a lady preacher changing the style of preaching to bring a community together)
Believe in Me (Girls Basketball movie... inspirational... tear jerker also;)

I would love to hear any comments on raves and faves in the line of movies or games for that matter. We are gamers on this side of the park so if you know of any great entertainment please remember all those good manners mom taught you and do share....

Touching toes

Here is his next big accomplishment... Boog can now touch his toes. He first liked playing with his friend Anna-Kate's toes and legs but now it is high time that he found his own. After all how will he ever start cleaning between his own toes. Mama Bear can't do it all his life.
